About this mod Machine translation
Automatically or switchably hide helmets, gauntlets, shields and weapons for players and NPCs
Why
Because I'm tired of being frustrated with "the entire game took an hour to create a helmet that wears a helmet"
getting Started
Install mod
Wait until the SkyUI message pops up about the registering menu
If you don't want to use the auto-hide feature, make sure to bind the toggle key. NOTE - You can enable auto-hide and still switch manually
Helmets and gloves are automatically detected when the mod starts. If you are not wearing any gear at the moment, the gear will be detected whenever you wear it.
how does this work
Helmets and gauntlets are not equipped - the effects of armor class and enchantments will be removed
Weapons rescaled to 0 - will not be displayed but will still be present, so any customization they provide will still be active
Supported nodes
WeaponBack
arms
WeaponAxe
WeaponMace
WeaponSword
WeaponDagger
WeaponAxeLeft
WeaponMaceLeft
WeaponSwordLeft
WeaponDaggerLeft
WeaponStaff
WeaponStaffLeft
WeaponBow (includes crossbow)

WARNING - Activating NPC support increases the number of monitored targets and thus the number of running scripts stored in the game/save without the ability to bypass it. If you don't know what this means, don't use this option
notes
The purpose of the Lazy Item Hider is to manage bulky or hidden gear worn while adventuring. If you don't do this and need to wear said magic gloves to improve your alchemy skills at home or something similar, there is a toggle hotkey option available to quickly enable or disable the mod/hider.
Tested with vanilla and XPMSSE. If you are using a skeleton that places the weapons on different nodes or a mod that lacks them entirely will not work.
Scripts are conditionally triggered and should be very lightweight. There are no cape effects, loops or other scripts running in the background.
Node scaling only covers game sessions and is not permanent. However, where applicable, the mod will re-hide your device based on game load.
Assume the default scale of nodes is 1, so if you use another mod in the game to change their size, this will be overridden
Mod has been tested with vanilla headgear. If you are using the modified variant, you may need to change the "HeadSlot" to a different setting to detect them. If this fails, the HelmOverride option will register the next equipment item as a headgear.
Please note that this mod and requirements are in alpha/beta/testing/whatever status. While it worked for me, I highly recommend testing the functionality thoroughly immediately after installation to make sure it works for you as well and retains backups naturally.

Why
Because I got tired of falling for the "Spend an hour creating a face - wear helmet the whole game" meme

Helm and gauntlets are automatically detected when mod starts up. If you weren't wearing any at this time they'll be detected whenever any are equipped instead.
How it works
Helm and gauntlets are unequipped - Armor rating and effects of attached enchantments will be removed

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
