About this mod Machine translation
Basically just smaller textures that should give more FPS on cards with less than 3GB of video memory.
Optimized landscape and town textures
Skyrim SE's textures don't look as good, not nearly as good as those found in Oldrim, but you'll need a card with at least 3GB to play without running out of video
Memories, or maybe even more.
This mod aims to free up some video memory by reducing their quality.
If you experience stuttering after 15-30 minutes of playing, this mod should help. Most likely you'll notice the stutter on the outside, interior designs tend not to use much video memory.
Installation: Open the archive and drag and drop the Data folder to the installation directory (the location of Skyrim SE and the game launcher). If asked, cover everything.
PC used:
RX 560 2GB
I5-2500
8GB RAM
160GB hard drive
Before:
Loading into Whiterun: 1819-1900 using VRam
After a few minutes of play: 1920-1925 VRam usage, stuttering
back:
Loading into Whiterun: 1760-1798 VRam usage
After a few minutes of play: 1798-1890 VRam used, no stuttering
This mod only changes the textures within all major towns (Whiterun, Windhelm, etc.) and landscape textures. No armor or weapon textures have been changed.
I can assure you that you won't notice the difference in general gameplay unless you look for it.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
