Lagertha the Viking Shieldmaiden by JWD - Female Independent Follower
*She is inspired by the historic Lagertha, a famous shield maiden from the Viking Age who was once the wife of another famous Viking, Ragnar Lothbrok.
*She is a standalone minion, using her own texture (Leyenda) and mesh (UNP)
*She uses vanilla fan framework instead of custom framework
*Like all my other fans, she also has a tracking flag that can be turned on/off in the Misc section of Quest Journal
- UPDATE *
The most recent update included an additional spell that allows you to teleport an engraving version of Lagertha, which also includes a new hairstyle. If you want to have the OG version, you can use the original teleport spell in exchange. One thing to note: for the time being you need to fire one and let the other follow you.

JWD's Lagertha the Viking Shieldmaiden - A Female Standalone Follower
- She is inspired by the historical Lagertha, a well-known shield-maiden of the Viking-age and who was once the wife of another well-known Viking, Ragnar Lothbrok.
- She is a standalone follower that uses her own textures (Leyenda) and meshes (UNP)
- She uses the vanilla follower framework and not a custom one
- Like all my other followers she also has a tracking marker that can be toggled on/off in the Misc section of the Quest Journal
*UPDATE*
The recent update includes an additional spell that will allow you to teleport a warpainted-version of Lagertha that also includes a new hairstyle. If you wish to have the OG version, you can use the original teleport spell to make a swap. One thing to note: for the time being you will need to dismiss one to have the other follow you.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
