All food becomes scarce and the days of overloaded food stocks are no more! Those days are gone. Food is scarce, so grab it while it's available. Hunting is the name of the game now, or whatever your needs are in this cut-throat world.

Skyrim is a dark place, and it shows now.

All the food buckets are empty, no more fancy dinners

All food is suppressed - it's very rare for tables to be empty, as is almost all crumbs in Skyrim. Food is not sold in hotels except in some very scarce places.

All Food has Been Suppressed - it's very rare, tables are empty, pretty much scraps in all of Skyrim. Inns don't sell food except certain very scarce places.. Time to brush up on those hunting skills.
