About this mod Machine translation

Better eyebrow replacements for your characters and NPCs!

describe

I've redesigned the textures several times since SSE was released and thought I'd upload them in case others would like to use them too.

There are a lot of mods out there that add standalone brows and a few replacements that I like and use regularly, but sometimes I just like my brows customizable. Everyone has a "style" they like and these are all my own.

Some shapes are inspired by shapes guides from trends, celebrities and random images on the internet. I will also add that they are colorable but a bit darker than vanilla as I don't like the light on light hair.

Maybe definitely friendly? Depends on whether they like plucking their eyebrows in Skyrim.

Install

Use the Mod Manager or manually add the "data" folder to the main game directory.

TLDR

Fuzzy caterpillar for your face!

Default replacement and standalone versions available!

Optional replacement sets available for more styles!

(I plan to continue releasing more alternatives in the future)

Hand draw me!

For both genders!

Q&A

"They don't look like the pictures!?"

Their shapes will vary depending on your presets, facial morphs and matches. If you use racemenu or ECE you can better edit their shapes in game.

The included picture is of the vanilla slider set to "0" and with no modded sliders used except for the ECE face slider, depending on the character. Elves and Red Guards have extremely sharp brow bones by default!

"Can I use some assets for my mod?"

certainly! Please believe me. Making...about 40 minutes+ per brow is very time consuming.

“Will you make a standalone version?”

Standalone version provided by Shiva182

"Can you pick your eyebrows in this inserted image link?"

I would probably use the "alternative" series. Give me a reference picture and if I like the look I'll add it.

Description

I've had and redonethese textures multiple times since SSE was released and figured I'd upload them in case others might want to use them as well.

There are many a mod out there that add standalone brows and some replacements that I like and often use but there are times when I just prefer my brows custom made. Everyone has a certain "style" they prefer and these are my own.

Some shapes are inspired by trends, celebrities and just random images on the internet for shape guidelines. I will also add that they are tintable but a tad bit darker than vanilla because I don't like how light they get with lighter hair colours.

Maybe lore friendly? Depends if they like to pluck their brows in Skyrim.

Q&A

"They don't look exactly like the pictures!?"

They will be shaped differently depending your  preset, face morphs and race. If you use racemenu or ECE you can edit their shape better in-game.

The pictures included are with vanilla sliders set to "0" and no modded sliders used aside from ECE face sliders, depending on the characters. Elves and Redguards have extremely pointy browbones by default!

"Can I use some of the assets for my mod?"

Of course!  just credit me please. It was quite time consuming to make... about  40mins+ for each brow.

"Can you make an eyebrow in this -insert image link here-style?"

I may with the "Alternative" set series. Message me a reference picture and if I like the look I'll add it.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
