About this mod Machine translation
Increased the impact of choices in Nature's Blessing with 4 unique voiced NPCs and adaptive changes to Whiterun's Temple of Kynareth.
After completing "Nature's Blessing" in Vanilla Skyrim, the only visible result of your choice to restore or replace Gildergreen is the tree/sapling itself. With this mod, your choices will have a greater impact on Kynareth's favor with Whiterun Temple and will determine their fate in treating patients and recruiting pilgrims.
This mod is esp with esl flag. All dialogue is fully expressed using edited vanilla lines.
feature:
Four unique NPCs, all with full voice dialogue. Which of them spawns and what they do depends on your choices during the mission. They include two potential assistants, Erisa and Rellis, a sick vanilla farmer I'll name Ionath, and newly injured defender Mektir.
Some new dialogue for Acolyte Jenssen, who is not yet vanilla. After completing the quest, you can talk to him to learn about the condition of the temple.
Danica doesn't have any other dialogue at the moment, but you can find her true thoughts on the situation in a letter on her desk.
Other changes will also take place at the Temple of Kynareth and the Eldergleam Sanctuary. See spoilers below for the full list.
Short hair!!
If you choose to plant new Gildergreen saplings, you will see the following effects:
Spoilers: Show
If you choose to use sap on older Gildergreen, you will see the following effects:
Spoilers: Show
Additionally, to improve immersion, pilgrims at Eldergleam Sanctuary will now have sheets to sleep on from the start.
Currently, no vanilla NPC AI packages have been edited to ensure greater compatibility.
Install:
After completing the mission, the changes to the Temple and NPCs will be displayed the next time Whiterun and the Temple Cells are reloaded. This can be triggered most quickly by driving quickly farther away, then quickly driving backwards.
This mod should work as expected when installed before and after completing Nature's Blessing.
If installed, I recommend saving somewhere other than Whiterun or Kynareth Temple.
This will ensure the unit is reloaded and objects/NPCs are enabled correctly.
compatibility:
Not compatible with:
Open City (due to setting NPCs to spawn in the original Whiterun Worldspace)
Completely renovate any modifications to the interior of the Temple of Kynareth in Whiterun
Complete overhaul of all mods for Eldergleam Sanctuary
Compatible with:
Any other city overhaul mod
Any AI overhaul mod
Guard Armor Substitute
Gildergreen Regrown (I haven't touched the tree itself since Arthmoor's mod works well for this)
Wintersun (I haven't touched the Kynareth shrine, so it should work fine)
No other mods specified (if you find a conflict please let me know)
Loading order:
Load higher than the lighting module to prevent its lighting space changes from being overwritten
Otherwise, sorting using Loot should be fine.
Other notes:
Shout out to the awesome Speech File Reference Tool 2 that makes custom dialogue creation even easier!
If you like this mod, please eventually follow my larger mod project, Reviving Skyrim, which had around 40 NPCs when originally released. Resurrecting Skyrim will add unique NPCs to repopulate Skyrim as you clear dungeons and complete quests, giving you a reason to revisit old locations to see what has changed. It will also provide new quests and dialogue with the ones you see here. I will continue to release standalone esl-flagged mods as I work on them. Stay tuned for more!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
