This is a patch I made for myself to make kids "protected" for users of Immersive Children (or any playable kids mod) who are tired of having every kid in the game killed by a dragon, vampire, or the occasional guy who gets knocked out. Personally, I just want an immersive children's animation fix, and don't like seeing dragons and vampires both having so much fun...am I saying that out loud?
This patch is for RS Kids, so you must install it. But there's no point unless you use one of those child-killing mods.

The patch is for RS Children so you have to have it installed. There is no point, however, unless you use one of the killable children mods.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
