About this mod Machine translation
Child NPCs are now able to fight and use different methods to fight enemies.
Skyrim-Warriors children in training SSE conversion. Credits to Umbren91 for making the original version.
The following description is taken from the original version, with my own edits to adapt to SSE (including links to the fixed SSE version), and to adapt the changes I made (with permission)
In a world filled with dragons and rage, death happens all the time, and Skyrim needs fear even more. If assassins can kill emperors, thieves can leave you without anything, elders can fight vampires with bare hands and dogs have cunning minds to help fight enemies, but children don't have a single protection and behave like children in modern times.
Now their parents or relatives have decided to help them because who knows one day someone will destroy this town. Attractions such as Riverwood and Rorikstead are right there.
no longer! The kids have risen and become warriors in training. to this is
The children of Skyrim warriors in training.
detail:
This model allows most kids to struggle with what they can use. Some people are still afraid of fighting or unable to learn to fight, such as street urchins like Lucia and Sophie. Those trapped in the halls of an orphanage can't fight a woman who tortures them if they use a knife wrong. Some sea urchins like Alesan have learned how to fight and use his survival skills. Children know Skyrim is not a safe place, so why don't their parents train them? This isn't real life and most people wouldn't think of picking up a sword or crossbow.
Umbren91 feels like Bethesda might have planned more with the kids than what we got, as the animations for magic and weapons work well with these guys and girls (probably due to the cutaway quest for Balgruuf's kids that would have them fighting each other). It seems they decided against it, but it is possible to let them fight.
Babette is now able to actually use vampire drainage. Why she is a three hundred year old vampire and a coward like a 5 year old girl is puzzling.
Characters like Braith and Britte don't have weapons, but since they brag about beating people, it's best to be brave and unarmed at the same time.
When Kayd speaks to you, he now makes sense and holds two swords.
Remember how Sissel talked to an NPC about using magic? Now she can, and he's been teaching her.
Lars is a kid who remains the same because he can't fight Braith.
Skuli has a powerful weapon as he helps run a hotel in the middle of nowhere.
Ever wonder why Atta has almost no warm clothes? Well, now she has the fire spell to make it even smarter.
Some children, like Babette, have improved health and magic.
Some confidence in children is different, such as being average or brave, and the choice of not being aggressive/cowardly is part of what prevents children from doing anything.
The kids at Balgruuf had bigger weapons because they were meant to be involved in cutback missions and actually fight, and thought it might be cool to give them weapons.
This mod also adds some extra children who will roam Skyrim and fight. It will also give some NPC children. Nothing special, but they may carry special items for anyone who wants to try and kill them and take the item. There are only a few now. If anyone wishes to extend it and create different child NPCs with voice acting and quests, please feel free to extend this mod.
Versions were made with and without extra children
The extra children added in the appropriate version are:
Amber Firestone and Piper Kanniah, they'll be traveling around so you may only see a glimpse of them.
Children belonging to NPCs:
Astrid and Arnbjorn- Alexstraza (Have her use Babette's script after DB ends so she should go to Dawnstar.)
Drifa and Bersi (Riften) – Dristha
Hert and Hern of Half Moon- Hylia (another vampire child)
Enmon and Mena by Karthwastern
Mathies of Indara and Falkreath.
notes:
The shield was unusable, one was given to Assur but he never used it.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
