Enhanced followers added by the excellent mod Khajiit Will Follow.

Basic Changes: Each follower will now get the skill perk (the one that makes most enchantments apply to the cast) and the Alchemist (the same, but for the effect of Alchemy. Additionally, they will also get perks for some vanilla weapons (Hack And Slash, Bladesman, etc...)) so if you use the perk overhaul to modify those perks, those changes will carry over to those followers. Which perks they get, and at which level, depends on their fighting style (Bikai, as a mastered fighter, gets all top-level two-handed and two-handed perks; Ma'kara and Sariq, who are both lightly armored fighters, both get all one-handed perks at 2nd, while Nanak, whose "weapons may be wielded instead of just daggers", only has a level 1 Bladesman Perk

Each follower also gains a number of new perks and abilities that reflect their personality: The following changes are as follows:

blue sea

Iron Will: Bikhai's Resolve reduces all incoming physical damage and stagger by 50% when performing a power attack or holding a bow.

Standing Together: Bikhai knows full well that warriors who stick together can cover each other's backs from ghost sneak daggers. When you or another KWF follower is within 20 feet of Bihai in combat, they gain 50 armor and a 10% physical damage bonus. Bihai gets an equal bonus for each affected follower, potentially ending up with 200 armor and a 40% physical damage bonus.

Nanak

In addition to the perks below, I gave him level 2 of the "Stone Flesh" spell and the "Mage Armor" perk, so he still has some sort of physical protection.

The Regalia of the Mage; while Nanak was busy reading all the books in the College of Bards or the Academy of the Arcane in search of all kinds of knowledge, this left him with great arcane potential but ridiculous ignorance wearing any kind of armor. As a result, he is strongest when wearing robes rather than any armor, gaining 50% magic regeneration, 35% magic resistance, 30% increased spell power or duration (depending on the school of the spell), and reduces incoming physical damage by 25% when he casts or focuses on a spell. All of these effects will be ineffective if Nanak is wearing any light or heavy armor.

Tenacity: Nanak's stubborn nature makes all spells directed against him, friendly or hostile, less powerful by 15%

Channeler: Wielding personnel increases spell power or duration by 25%

Makara:

Resilience: While traveling across Skyrim in search of her brother, after encountering bandits who nearly killed her and left her with broken ribs, Makara found herself surprisingly resistant to physical pain. As her health decreases, her resistance to physical attacks increases, and the chance of critical hits and damage increases.

Sariq:

Opportunist: As any bandit, assassin, or ruthless person knows, honor is a fool's virtue, and Sariq prides himself on being a great thief: as such, he gains 20% increased physical damage, 40% increased critical damage, and a 20% increased chance to critically hit a weakened target*

*Any objective considered weakened that meets at least one of the following criteria:

-Affected by alchemical poisons

  • Performing a powerful attack or fully drawing the bow

-stagger

-Refuse to accept Sariq

-Below 40% of its maximum health

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
