Keep it clean - a way to take a bath

Keep it Clean is a simplified mod that adds clean/dirty management to Skyrim gameplay. Shower everywhere ;) Add bathrooms to hotels, soap vendors, wash water for cooks, and placeable laundry baskets for players to use back home or at camp. Also build your own bathroom!

I love needing mods, and I always feel like when I'm stumbling from door to door - and taking a shower - something is missing!

Keep it Clean is a simplified mod that adds clean/dirty management to Skyrim gameplay.

Over time, your player character will become visually dirty, your voice skills and sneaking abilities will make you feel dirty (you stink! Do you really think you can talk to people or sneak up on them when you smell Pepe the pew!?), and your disease resistance will decrease to the point where you can become infected (configurable in the MCM).

Regular bathing will avoid these penalties and provide rewards for your speech and disease resistance. Using special soaps will give you extra bonuses.

To wash it yourself, you just need soap and find a small river spot. If the water is too cold, too dangerous, or too far away, you can use some wash water and the bonus will be halved compared to soap. You can make soap and wash water at any cooking site.

When using one of the inn's bathrooms, your player character will feel warmer (frost friendly) and more relaxed, and you will be rewarded with a bit of learning ability, among other bonuses.

Each bathing room had a tub with a bench and water jets (hence the original 'shower' nickname). After entering the bathroom, the NPC will undress and relax on the bench or chair provided. (The NPC will use whatever body you install, nevernude or not, so your SFW quotient is up to you.)

You must ask the owner for a key and permission to enter the bathroom.

Your athlete character can also bathe comfortably! In each bathroom, switch the "undress basket" (basket of armor or clothing) to remove all items. Click Redress again and re-equip your weapons and equipment spells, a soapbox will allow you to buy some soap.

Each is its own cell, with minimal floor space within a hotel - often just a trap door and a small basket or other clutter to indicate the bathing quarters. The exceptions are some hotels with basements, such as the Bee & Barb in Riften - the bathrooms have a door in the cellar. I also added a door to the Raven Rock and New Gnisis Cornerclub's Retching Netch. (The Nightgate Inn now has an access door in the basement.)

Followers get support! They get as dirty as you.

By default, follower support is enabled in MCM. when you take a shower

On your own, Kic will discover all your teammates. Must be a custom fan

Automatic detection (like Vilja or Inigo). if you are not

detected, you can easily add it to the list using the built-in function

What about my player home?

This mod allows you to build your own bath room! Choose between five bathrooms! You can install it anywhere!

How about your permanent camp?

This mod includes placeable laundry baskets that you can place near your player's home or camp.

Like Inn Baskets, these are permanent and can be used an unlimited number of times.

Clothebasket works the same way. Soapbasket connects together, allowing you to access your soap stash from any house or campsite.
