Keen eyes and good scent

twitch

what is it?

Two simple hotkey based functions taken from my overhaul, showing arrows and corpses/corpse with visual effects. Visit Twitch to see it in action.

Install?

SKSE is required!

MO2 drag and drop? Of course, you'll also need Skyrim SE.

Are there any bugs or limitations?

Not a bug, but a limitation. There is no MCM for simple reasons. Use xEdit to adjust hotkey global values. Should be easily identifiable. DxScanCode number here Please see the screenshot in the images section to see how to adjust it using xEdit.

FAQ

Could you please provide a more detailed description?

Watch the video! The keys are K and L.

Are there further developments?

Not sure basically, this is what I need. However, I may add more features if there is demand. Building an MCM also depends on whether the user wants to clutter their MCM list and whether there are enough function variables to justify the code bloat of adding an MCM. For comparison. The code I'm using now amounts to 3-5% of the code I need to import to create a functional MCM.

Don't know. Basically that's all I need. But if there's some demand I might add more functions. Building an MCM also depends if users want to clutter up their MCM list, and if there are enough function variables to justifie the code bloat of adding an MCM. For comparison. The code I'm using right now, is equivalent to anywhere between 3-5% of how much code I would need to import, to create a functional MCM.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
