| SKYRIM Loyalty Project - Redo 2K Mountain |
This is a texture replacer for the default Skyrim mountain texture.
This is going to replace my old file: Ridiculous High Resolution Mountain
MOD DETAILS
These include 2K (2048x2048) diffuse, normal and parallax maps. I made a diffuse map using a few images I took in my backyard and then edited them in Photoshop. The normal and parallax maps were made using Bounding Box Software's Materialize - similar to CrazyBump, but more user friendly (I'm new to texturing). What you see is basically an addition to my archive of texturing practices. It’s not that I didn’t try hard ;)
Install
- Extract the contents of the .rar archive.
- Copy and paste the "Textures" folder into Skyrim's "Data" folder.
- If/when prompted, choose to overwrite all files.
- Enjoy.
What is the "SKYRIM Loyalty Project"?
The current Skyrim Fidelity project is a small project I'm working on as a work/life tangent. Its current purpose is to retexture landscapes in Skyrim (and possibly other things) and give me something to encourage practice in modeling and texturing. I thought it would be both motivating and beneficial if the textures I made could be downloaded and potentially enjoyed by others. I will make sure to post all updates where they are visible.

WHAT IS "SKYRIM FIDELITY PROJECT"?
Skyrim Fidelity Project as it currently stands is a minor project I've undertaken as a tangent from work/life. Its current aim is to provide retextures for the landscape (maybe other things down the track) in Skyrim and give me something to encourage practice in modeling and texturing. I figured it'd be both more motivating and rewarding if the textures I made were available for others to download and potentially enjoy. I'll make sure to post all updates where ever they'll be visible.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
