describe:
Like many of you Sky Copycats, I use johnskyrim's nifty JS Dragon Claw to add some extra spice to my games. His meshes and textures are truly a work of art, dare I say it - this is a requirement if you want the "ZOMG 2018 Ultra Realistic Skyrim 400+ Mod Setup". So, imagine my frustration when I discovered that contrary to all known prophecies, the mod did not cover the Dragonborn dlc Amethyst Claws!
- Oh, my God!
- Not good!
- Nine-nine!
Shh! Don't let your kids despair - there will be a patch someday. That must be it...
That very day, the patches were made and packaged! Praise Talos! (Don't if you support Thalmors).
Now... speaking of which, what did I do?
- I separated johnskyrim's claw net into two separate parts
- I repeated the collision on these pieces and matched the shader to johnskyrim's other claws
- I made sure to edit the door mesh to use the new claws
Finally, I made sure to include a mode that automatically makes you 1% happier - Happy Skyrim!
illustrate:
Just install normally using NMM/Vortex/MO and let the mod override any mods that change dragon claws.
To do:
Add different texture resolutions.

Description:
As with many of you fellow skyrim modders, I use johnskyrim's beautiful JS Dragon Claws to add that little extra bit of spice to my game. His meshes and textures are truly a work of art, and dare I say - a requirement if you want that "ZOMG 2018 Ultra Realistic Skyrim 400+ Mod Setup". So, imagine my frustration when I found out that contrary to all known prophecies, the mod does not cover the Dragonborn dlc amethyst claws!
- Oh my god!
- Oh no!
- By the nines!
Shhh! Do not despair children - for one day a patch will be made. It must be so...
And this is that day, where a patch has been made and the package is complete! Praise Talos! (or don't if you support the Thalmors).
Now... with that being said, what have I done?
- I've split johnskyrim's claw mesh into two separate pieces
- I redid the collision on these pieces and matched the shaders to johnskyrim's other claws
- I made sure to edit the door meshes to use the new claws
Finally, I made sure to include a mod that automatically makes you 1% more happier - happy Skyrim!
Instructions:
Just install as normal with NMM/Vortex/MO and let the mod overwrite any mod that alters the dragon claws.
To Do:

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
