About this mod Machine translation

Added bookstore for Winterhold. . : Jobasha's Books SE:

For Skyrim Special Edition

This mod adds a new bookstore called Jobasha's Books to Winterhold.

The shop is located right at the end of the path between destroyed houses.

Jobasha stock comes from all major book level lists. He sells mostly common books but does have the opportunity to sell rare books. He doesn't sell technique books. The spells he carries are mostly from the novice and proficiency level lists, and the same applies to scrolls.

Upstairs you can find the Charles Factory, which will produce a Meteor Slime (also sold by Joasha). Refer to his Morrowind counterpart ;)

Meteor slime treats poison and resists it, cures disease and strengthens magic.

In addition to selling books, scrolls, and spellbooks, Jobasha also sells a variety of other items:

-Elsweyr hotpot.

-Skooma

-Moonsugar

  • Harvest of Alchemy
  • Burnt and destroyed books
  • Scroll of paper, inkwell, quill
  • Meteor slime

Jobasha has a full schedule and is open from 8am to 8pm. :compatibility:.

If any mod touches the same area of Winterhold then it will be incompatible.

Jobasha's Book and WinterHold Recovery Patch

If you use Winterhold Restored, use Jobasha's book and WinterHold Restored Patch.

This patch moves the bookstore next to Jarl's House. Do not use it with standard Jobasha's book files. Otherwise conflicts may arise.

Make sure sm_jobasha_WHrestore_patch.esp is loaded after Winterhold is restored. . :My Winterhold Mods for SSE:

Jobasha's Bookstore

Temple of Julianos

Winterhold Gate. :Author's Note:

The world has been plagued by the lack of bookstores in Skyrim, and Winterhold seemed like the perfect place for this mod. Given that Winterhold was a center for mages, learners, scholars, and seekers of knowledge; even with its ruins and failures, something like this should have been implemented.

To me, the mod is a way to get the Morrowind Easter eggs into the game as well as provide a small merchant that sells unique inventory. Skooma, Moon Sugar, and Elsweyr Fondue are designed to link to his Kahjiit background, while misc projects like Inkwell and Paper provide a much-needed avenue for people who use scrolling to make mods.

I hope you like this mod.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
