For a Rogue/Assassin game, this allows you to gain heights you couldn't before.
- Prepare equipment outside the city
- Enter the city as an honest traveler
- Find hidden lairs and weapons
- Get the job done by using Deadly Shadows paths, avoiding guards and citizens
- Escape the city with alternative access
There are currently only four cities: Riften and Markarth, Windhelm (video at the bottom of this page). and Whiterun.
Unlike vanilla Skyrim's Deadly Shadows (which has an obvious path), I tried to incorporate JK's work. Some of his cities already have partial rooftop access (Riften and Windhelm), which means less work for lazy me.
Alternative access:
Riften: The roof of the meadery behind the temple in Mara
Markas: the river
Whiterun: By the river under the painted bridge
Windhelm: Near the west side of the city wall
Hidden lair:
Riften: La Cloche, very small, with an alchemical laboratory - an anvil. Two shivs found.
Markarth: Pelatarth Lair, abandoned for a long time. Alchemy laboratory and bed. Two shivs on the table.
Windhelm: Joyeux Repos, forgotten, dark and empty. Alchemy laboratory, bed, cooking station. Two shivs.
- Whiterun: Chez Mumuth, a nice exclusive place. Kitchen, Bed, Alchemy and Charming Station. Behind Arcadia's house.
Weapons: Shivs. Magical shivs. One paralyzes your target, the other causes fatal bleeding.
Only works with JK's Skyrim
My other Fatal Shadow models (shameless promotion):
DS Riften
DS Markarth
DS Solitude
DS Windhelm
Huts and huts, from job to job:
DS Solitude Shack
DS Cabin in Reach
For stealth archers:
archery
Muted Sneak attack sound

For thieves/assassin gameplay, this grant you access to a few heights that where not available before.

Windhelm: West of the city, near the wall
Hidden Lairs:

Markarth: Pelatarth Lair, abandoned since a long time. Alchemy lab and bed. Two shivs on a table.
Windhelm: Joyeux Repos, forgotten, dark and empty. Alchemy lab, bed, cooking station. Two shivs.
- Whiterun: Chez Mumuth, a nice and exclusive place. Kitchen, bed, alchemy and enchanting stations. Behind Arcadia's house.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
