Reading the recipe will reveal what the reagents do
Requires SKSE64 and USSEP
Jebalon's
Reagents reveal recipes
This mod will reveal the alchemical effects of ingredients mentioned in potion/poison recipes
Restore healthy recipes
</ s> </ s> </ s>
Restored health will appear on monarch wings and blisters accordingly
Vanilla Skyrim only has 27 potion/poison recipes
Dawnguard adds 1 to the list
This mod adds 85 recipes
Covers almost all alchemical potions/poisons
Using ingredients of vanilla, DG, HF and DB
New recipes have been added to the apothecary recipe level list
The number of recipes for each merchant using these items has been increased
There will now be 5 to 10 items instead of 1 or 2
Additionally, the owners of 8 books or magazines in the game folded some recipes into them
These recipes will disappear as you read these alchemy-related books.
The difference with this mod is that the script is not attached to the base object
Instead, the recipe is saved in a task alias, which the script will look for when you read the recipe
If you read an unknown recipe, you will know the effects of its ingredients
Install/Uninstall
Use the Mod Manager of your choice
Install on a game you're already playing - the mod will scan and learn any recipes you've read
Fun fact: If you read all 113 recipes, the mod will rescan the recipe to double check and then close itself
compatibility
Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul - Might not be compatible, but I think it has this feature
Please let me know in the comments about CACO and any other mods
Known issues
-Recipe naming
It is based on vanilla (the name of the potion recipe) and similar book cover Skyrim mods
Or the Sorting MOD renames recipes for better sorting (potion recipe-name)
- Price for new recipes not set
I think they're all 20 gold. Vanillas range from 10 for common to 50+ for rare recipes

It is based on vanilla ( Name of Potion Recipe ) Whereas mods like Book Covers Skyrim
or sorting mods rename the recipes to sort better ( Potion Recipe - Name )

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
