About this mod Machine translation

Creating piles of corpses just got easier!

Tired of carrying the dead alone?

Call in the body movers to get the job done for you!

Using the latest in Dwemer tech magic, these little guys can pile up bodies in no time!

There are 2 corpse moving designs to choose from

Dwemer Spider - My personal choice

Dwemer Sphere-Arachnophobia

About 2 hours into the game after installation, I will send you 2 spell books to learn the Summon Corpse Mover spell.

(You may have to wait a full day on new games, but the game will show up)

Cast the Summon Corpse Mover spell where you want the corpses to be stacked.

Then stand up and let the automaton begin its work.

They only last about 2 minutes. Therefore, another call may be necessary. Do this near the heap that is already in progress.

Only 1 corpse mover can be active at a time.

Obvious issues may arise due to NavMesh issues in certain areas.

If the body is inaccessible, they will still try, but should give up after a minute or two.

For them, water doesn't seem to be an issue. Although the NavMesh does need to be present.

Even then, the body will not be hauled away by movers.

The carcass will be moved independently directly to the pile location, while movers must use the path.

This way, the body may collide with walls and other objects along the way.

This can result in the body becoming stuck or inaccessible.

Likewise, bodies and movers may arrive on the pile at different times.

The body mover is really completely useless.

Unless... you want a nice pile of corpses!

They will ignore combat, and other NPCs should ignore them as well.

To-do list:

-Add more skeleton.nif nodes for mover recognition

This is also to get to know more corpse races. Can include racial skeletons added by mods.

-Adjust speed

What to do with those dead bodies?

Dead NPC Body Cleansing Remover by TonyCubed2 and the SoT Team

Long story short, it's kind of...

I've started a mod project that is basically a giant dwemer chamber that will do a lot of things.

I mean huge!

I guess the room will fit right in between Whiterun and Fort Greymoor.

Close to the body! One room!

It started as an interior unit, but soon became large enough that I gave it its own world space.

And it's dark too! I want the players to have to figure out how big this place is!

Fast forward to reality...

I just don’t have the time or energy to do much more.

So I decided to strip off a feature from this project and make this mod here.

Please take a look at the mod and provide feedback, ask me anything.

Summon a Corpse Mover that will do the work for you!

Dwemer Sphere - Arachnophobe friendly

Install and after about 2 in-game-hours I will send you 2 spell books to learn the summon Corpse Mover spells.

(you may have to wait a full day on a new game but it will show up)

Cast the Summon Corpse Mover spells on a spot where you want to make your corpse pile.

Then stand back and let the automaton get to work.

They only last about 2 minutes. So, summoning again may be needed. Do this close to the pile already in progress.

Only 1 Corpse Mover can be active at a time.

Obvious issues can arise due to NavMesh problems in some areas.

If a corpse is not accessible, they will still try but should give up in a moment or two.

Water does not seem to be an issue for them. Although NavMesh does need to be present.

The corpse is not towed by the Mover, even though that is the appearance.

The corpse will move independently straight to the pile location while the Mover has to use pathing.

As such the corpse may collide with walls and other objects along …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
