Jaxonz locator conversion (almost fully functional)

by SirTurdle·v1.01·Updated 2019-08-26

Note: I'm not a real mod developer or active member, but I do play a lot of Skyrim. I can't offer a lot of support, but I'm keeping this mod because some people might like it. This is a mod that I feel Hearthfire needs, and seeing how old modders were leaving the scene, I took it upon myself to figure out how to convert it. at midnight on Sunday.

With the help of TheSponge, I was able to add some fixed scripts that should restore the previously unavailable functionality! Thank you so much!

(Converted script from

They're already in my master file!

Update 2~3/21/18~

I recommend using this mod with placeable statics here as it supports hearthfire better than my mod and provides workarounds for minor bugs in this mod.

Please note - since I am not familiar with C++ coding, all functions that require Jaxons DLL files are not available. Everything I use works, so the mod is more or less useful even in this state

I'm pretty sure Bethesda thought people would find decorating houses boring so they didn't put this mod into the game, so when SSE came out I was so frustrated with my campfire home

This mod solves this problem. Mind you, this is my first ever modding type situation (other than installing/playing mods. Been doing this for years)

So, I'm sorry if something doesn't quite work and I'm not sure how to fix it.

Any constructive criticism/tutoring would be great as I want to start making my own patterns :D

(Note!) Some alerts may occur when loading a save for the first time, just click OK. These features all work according to my testing and there are no known broken saves!

Happy decorating!

(For installation, I personally use Mod Organizer. NMM should work fine)

Drag and drop to your SSE directory and enjoy! (assuming you have skse and SkyUI c:)

jaxonz543 kudos1817's post

Hey everyone. I decided to leave the Skyrim modding scene.

If anyone wants to take over one or all of my mods, please let me know via private message (I'll be notified by email).

Otherwise, all my mods are distributed with full source code in BSA files, so you can change them as you like.

They are already in my main file regardless!

Update 2 ~3/21/18~

I recommend using this mod in conjunction with place-able statics over here, due to it supporting hearthfire better than my mod and gives workarounds for the small bugs in this mod.

PLEASE NOTE - Because im not well versed in C++ coding, all functionalities that require Jaxons DLL file are not available.  All of the functions ive used have worked, so the mod is more or less extremely useful even in this state

Im pretty sure that Bethesda thought people would find decorating homes boring so they didnt make this mod built into the game, so when SSE came out i was pretty bummed out by my hearthfire home

This mod fixes that.  Please note, this is my first ever modding type situation ive done  (aside from installing/playing with mods. been doing that for years)

So if something isnt completely working, im sorry im not certain how to fix it.

Any constructive criticism / tutoring would be really nice, as i would like to begin making my own mods:D

(NOTE!) Some alerts may happen upon first loading a save, just click okay.  The functions all work according to my testing, with no known broken saves!

Happy Decorating!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
