About this mod Machine translation
Replaced with Jarl's sitting animation used by Archery Master Vyrthur during the Dawnguard questline. Available as complete alternatives, gender-specific alternatives (FNIS) or player-only products (DAR).
Older versions can be found here! Thank you Xtudo! Knowing their files has nothing to do with me.
I've always loved the animation Arch Curate Vyrthur used when sitting on the throne. This is a good balance between imposing and relaxed, and doesn't look as silly as the default Jarl sitting animation. So I extracted the animation from the BSA using Bethesda Archive Extractor and then replaced it by renaming it. Very simple.
version number

There are no other requirements.

Requires Dynamic Animation Replacer - DAR
Known issues
This module is provided as is. These animations are not mine, so I won't make any specific modifications to them. However, you can do so as long as you follow Bethesda's own guidelines. That said, even in my screenshots, there are some obvious issues.
- Some slight clipping may occur on some chairs, such as the King's Palace in Windhelm.
-Because Jarl's chair does not have high arms, the left arm seems to be floating.
- The startup animation will show the character using the default Jarl pose, but will switch to the new pose as soon as they are fully seated.

Bethesda makes these animations. I own nothing.
MistValkyrie, a font replacer for the amazing Sovngarde - Mist, which I've used in their header image.
Smartbluecat along with INIGO gave me a good laugh when I took screenshots.

The mod is provided as-is. These animations aren't mine, so I won't be making any modifications to them specifically. You, however, are free to do so, as long as it follows Bethesda's own guidelines. That said, here are some obvious issues visible even in my screenshots.
- Some minor clipping may occur on certain chairs, such as Windhelm's Palace of the Kings throne.
- Left arm may look floaty because the Jarl's chairs don't exactly have high arms.
- The start up animation will show the character using the default Jarl pose, but will immediately switch to the new one after they're fully sitting.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
