SE port Improved Weapon Enchantment FX - Animated effects shader by darkman24
The original fire texture and alternating shock texture are included in the main installation, but alternate fire textures and original shock textures are available in optional files.
This mod is a simple texture replacer that I made because other similar mods just didn't suit my taste at all. It modifies some of the FX shaders used by the magic effects of weapon enchantments, which replace textures and animate them. The new effect is mixed and combined from a number of free textures, with a minimum size of 512x512 pixels. Unfortunately I didn't add the particle shader because I don't know how to edit nif files, I tried to follow the guide but every one of my attempts ended in failure.
Here's how they look in-game: http://www.youtube.com/watch? v = h3j5jyQhV64
Thank you BDMods!!!
The effect is more noticeable in dark environments and I don't want them to be too bright. But I can do a brighter version if needed.
The only issue that can't be fixed has to do with the way the effects shader is applied to the texture. In most cases, in swords, the blade grain is divided into pieces, sometimes arranged at different angles on the grain. So you might see boundaries between these clips and even animations moving in different directions on the weapon.
compatibility:
This mod is incompatible with any mod that changes the effect shader used by the magical effects of weapon enchantments.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This mod will not overwrite/edit any textures from vanilla games, so it is fully compatible with any mod that uses effect textures.
Compatible with Summermyst Just load this mod after Summermyst!

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
