About this mod Machine translation
A powerful zEdit module for manually adding items to hierarchical lists and containers. Now with less tedium, streamlined user interface, intuitive design and advanced features!
Editing level lists is a tedious task. Automated tools and fixes exist, but they are not suitable for every situation. If you want full control and oversight of the process, you're going to have to sit back and get to work. So a while ago I made a little zEdit script to solve this problem and uploaded it to . When a user named Supertron commented, "This is more important than making it as easy as possible to add mod weapons and armor to the upgraded list!!!" I thought, "Yeah, this guy gets it." We're a step closer, but not quite there yet...
Keep it as simple as possible. That's the goal.

Overview
There are really only 3 things you need to know to use this tool:
- An item is essentially anything that can be put into a container. Any record with one of the following signatures can be an item:
ALCH,AMMO,APPA,ARMO,BOOK,INGR,KEYM,LIGH,LVLI,MISC,SCRL,SLGM,WEAP
Some examples of items: Iron Boots, Orc Dagger, Goat Cheese Wedge, Death Bell, Torch, Soul Gem, Alva's Diary, Single Gold Coin…
- A list is any container list or hierarchical list. Any record with one of the following signatures can be a list:
LVLI CONT
- LVLI or "Leveled Item" or "Leveled List" can be... (you probably guessed it) an item or a list.
The rest should be intuitive, but if you need it, here's a broad overview of what the tool does and how to use it:
Start SimpleAddItems:
Select some items and/or lists in the tree view (holding down the Ctrl and Shift keys are your friends!) and right-click to open the context menu -> Select + SimpleAddItems. You can also use the hotkeys Shift + Alt + i.
SimpleAddItems window:
A note about the files: You can select a specific target file, or you can select Separately to edit the lists in their respective files, or you can select New to add the lists (as an overlay) to a new file and edit them there.
Select function:
AddMoreItems:

Thanks
A huge thank you to Mator for making zEdit an incredible application and for having so much fun writing modules for zEdit and for going above and beyond the call of duty of any developer to answer my many silly questions. I'm not a professional coder, but I love javascript and learned a lot from Mator. My entire outlook on coding has changed, and I plan to continue applying the lessons he taught me to future projects, whatever they may be.
Thanks also to VictorF and the rest of the Modding Tools Discord for being so gracious, answering my questions, and making me feel welcome even though I was such a timid newbie.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
