About this mod Machine translation
Past Civil War battlefields have been added to make the world of Skyrim feel like it exists without your intervention and is actually at war.
This model is inspired by Skyrim LE's Honorable Death.
I feel like mods for SE that try to do similar things have some obvious issues or end up reducing immersion. This simple mode places battlefields around Skyrim, as well as Imperial prisoners beyond Windhelm and Stormcloak prisoners beyond Solitude.
This mod contains:
Ambush of Imperial convoy east of Helgen
An Imperial Checkpoint to Markarth
A big battle in the Pale Forest
Thalmor and Imperials vs. Stormcloak soldiers in the swamp
Imperial and Stormcloak fleets shipwrecked between Winterhold and Dawnstar
Imperial checkpoint near Fort Greymore
Burying Stormcloak soldiers near Windhelm
Two Imperial prisoners near Windhelm
Lonely near a Stormcloak prisoner
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
