About this mod Machine translation

Tired of your horse returning to the place where you purchased it? Stabilize your horses anywhere they will return after being fired.

Even though you have a lovely stable home, are you tired of your horses returning to the same place you bought them from? no longer. With this mod you can move your horse's home to a place of your choice and the horse will always return there after being fired.

How it works:

Once installed, you'll get three "stability" spells. Cast on a horse to manage and select a slot. Cast another, placing an invisible marker where you stand (outdoors only) to make any horse in that slot its new home. Then cast another spell to remove the horse or token. That’s all. Currently, up to five horses are supported, although I may eventually add more.

Note: You can tag horses or place tags independently of each other. So you can set the mark first and then add or change it around the stable horse. Alternatively, you can tag a horse first and then set or move the tag. Stable AI will only take effect if that slot's marker is placed somewhere in the world.

compatibility:

This does nothing in the vanilla game other than placing the marker's initial position inside the Whiterun Stables, so it should be compatible with almost everything. If you are unloading, be sure to clear all horse and marker slots to ensure safety. This is an ESP with the ESL flag, so it won't affect your plugin limits.

Tired of your horses returning to the place you bought them from even though you have a player home with lovely stables? No more. With this mod, you can move your horse's home to a place of your choice, and that horse will always return there after being dismissed.

How it works:

After installing, you will get three "Stable" spells. Cast one on a horse to manage it, and select a slot. Cast another to place an invisible marker where you are standing (outdoor only) to make that the new home for whatever horse is in that slot. And cast another spell to clear either a horse or a marker. That's it. Currently, up to five horses are supported, although I may add more eventually.

Note: You can tag horses or place markers independently of one another. So you can set up the markers first, then add or change around the horses that stable there later. Or you can tag a horse first, then set or move the marker around later. The stabling AI will only take effect if the marker for that slot is placed somewhere in the world.

Compatibility:

This doesn't touch anything in the vanilla game, except for placing the markers' initial location inside Whiterun Stables, so it should be compatible with pretty much anything. Make sure you clear all of the horse and marker slots just to be safe if you want to uninstall. This is an ESL flagged ESP, so it won't affect your plugin limit.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
