By replacing the Imperial Banners with Stormcloak Banners, this mod provides a little more immersion into the Stormcloak faction following the end of the Civil War.
This mod fixes something very simple, but incredibly killer. After the Stormcloak side of the Civil War ended, I noticed that Castle Dour's original Imperial flag was still flying. After investigating several locations in Solitude, I realized that the Imperial flag isn't just about Castle Dour, but the flags are literally everywhere, but for some reason the Solitude prison has a Stormcloak banner. So I skipped the Creation Kit to find a reference to the Solitude Flags and then extracted them with B.A.E. I took the original Stormcloak textures and combined two of them, using "paint.net" to shape the banner similar to the Imperial version.
Ideally I could write the banners correctly and make the banners so that the game automatically replaces these new Stormcloak banners after the civil war ends, but unfortunately I lack the knowledge to do such a thing.

This mod fixes something incredibly simple, but incredibly lore breaking. Following the conclusion of the Stormcloak side of the Civil War I noticed Castle Dour had the original Imperial flags still hung up. After investigating a few locations in Solitude I realized that the Imperial flags were not specific to just the Castle Dour, but the flags were practically everywhere, but for some reason the Solitude jail had Stormcloak banners. So I hopped on the Creation Kit found the reference for the Solitude Flags and then extracted them using B.A.E. I took the original Stormcloak textures and combined two of them to shape the banners similar to the Imperial versions using "paint.net."
Ideally I could properly script the banners and make it so the game would automatically replace these new Stormcloak banners after the conclusion of the Civil War, but unfortunately I lack the knowledge to do such a thing.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
