About this mod Machine translation

Lets you see your character's body in a first-person perspective. Also allows for first-person viewing of Horse, Crafting, Werewolf and Vampire Lord.

Lets you see your character's body in a first-person perspective. First person view is also added when you normally can't such as horse riding, crafting, werewolves, vampire lords and pretty much any other time the game forces you out of first person view.

This mod is similar to Immersive First Person View (Legendary Edition), but it has SSE remade from the ground up, so if you are used to the older version, it will be quite different.

Requires .NET Scripting Framework

Install

Use a mod manager or install manually. The default configuration will override the regular first person view with no additional configuration required, but you can change most of it using the configuration file in /Data/NetScriptFramework/Plugins/IFPV.config.txt

Installing mid play-through should be no problem as this mod is just a DLL plugin and does not alter the save game.

uninstall

Use a mod manager or just delete the files added during installation.

Uninstalling mid-player should be fine, but it's safer if you're not in first-person view when you save your game.

Known issues

When you save a game in first person view and close the game, reopen it and it will be in third person view.

When you save the game in 3rd person view and then enter first person view and reload it will be in 1st person view instead of 3rd person view.

When you draw your weapon, the arm's shadow disappears.

Shadows missing heads in werewolf and vampire lord forms.

When you look down a lot and walk against a wall, and then walk backwards, the camera may bob up and down strangely when you stop.

When you take out the weapon and enter the menu (game paused, like ESC menu), the arm will not rotate correctly.

Some ENB effects or lighting may be slightly different in first-person view, especially if you're looking down a lot. This is due to the near clipping setting.

360 walking/running animations may cause the camera to behave erratically.

Tailored questions as always.

This mod is similar to the Immersive First Person View (Legendary Edition) but it's been remade completely from scratch for SSE so there will be big differences if you're used to the old one.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
