About this mod Machine translation

Immersive Fallen Trees is a mod that adds more fallen trees to Skyrim for a beautiful immersive presentation. You'll find them in rivers or canyons.

From Jurassic4LIFE:

"Immersive Fallen Trees is a mod that adds more fallen trees to the skyrim, making for a beautiful immersive experience. You'll find the most common trees in rivers or canyons. The goal was to include them in these trees and make them look as though they came naturally to me the best I can. This mod should feel as if it's a part of the game and should always be there."

Immersive Fallen Trees was released in 2014. Jurrassic4LIFE has a simple, yet elegant idea that goes a long way towards making Skyrim feel more like the wild and untamed place it should be. Jurrassic4Life has retired from modding and passed this mod to me for improvement and support. I plan to return to Jurassic4LIFE modified areas using the skills I learned to create my other mods. This also means I will provide bug fixes as needed.

feature

Hand placed fallen trees, over a hundred!

Minor modifications around some fallen trees. These will be added based on user suggestions for specific areas (currently this only includes the fallen tree below Valtheim Towers)

All changes are made with maximum compatibility in mind. This should be an unobtrusive drop and play mod.

compatibility

This mod should have minimal compatibility issues with the way other mods add objects except for trees, in which case they can be removed by selecting them in the console and using disable; make sure you select the correct object, if you disable the wrong one, just type enable without selecting any other objects.

Known Mod Interactions:

Simply Bigger Tree's: SBT modifies the grid used by this mod. This means that the trees look interesting in places because of their position relative to their original size. I've personally played both games and this has been almost invisible with a few exceptions.

Install

Manual: Very easy, just drag and drop or copy and paste the .esp into your Skyrim Data folder.

You can also use a mod manager like Mod Organizer, NMM or Wrye Bash.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
