Patch to make Skyrim's immersive creatures compatible with Requiem
This patch makes Skyrim immersive creatures compatible with Requiem versions 3.20 and 3.3.0. It doesn't work on earlier versions.
Before doing anything, please install SIC and the official SIC patch, which can be found here.
Now, there are a few things you need to know:
- Make sure the extended armor function in the mcm menu is turned off. It replaces Requiem's armor values and confusion status with an armor penetration system that can, but doesn't have to, result in significantly easier enemies.
- I highly recommend disabling the extended stats option as well, in theory it shouldn't conflict with anything, but I haven't done enough testing to know for sure.
- Keep the global difficulty as good as possible, changing it won't affect the creature and its power, but it will affect the damage it takes, so you can make Draugr easily shootable at level one or a God Mod that can't be killed at all. If you have played it, please remember the 1.9.4 patch.
Now, I'm going to say a few words and just a few thoughts, it took me over a month to do this and explaining everything will take just as much time.
This patch is completely downgraded, meaning there are no upgraded creatures left.
I try to be as fair as possible. The power of these creatures depends on where they spawn, so a sensible challenge would await, such as making the Atlanta Tundra Spider fully viable below level 10 but still having the same power as their frostbite cousins. We call it a fun combat mechanic.
Also, I found some crashing issues with corrupted meshes and the like, tried my best. I didn't allow myself to fix the problem, so I just removed them from the level list, so the mobs would no longer spawn.
Level lists and mobs have been assembled correctly. You don't get bullshit like a bullshit priest in BFB. I don’t want some to be eliminated.
In case you're wondering, Draugr doesn't have problems with armor.
These creatures will no longer drop superpowered items, and their inventories have been carefully balanced. The point of this mod is that it's not free loot after all.
In some cases, the AI was changed to make it reasonable. No more wolf pups will come at you like this.
I have many other things for you to discover.

Now there are several things you need to know:
- Make sure that Extended armor feature in mcm menu is turned off. It replaces requiem armor values and messes with armor penetration system which can but doesn't need to lead to significantly easier enemies.
- I strongly suggest you to disable extended stats option as well, in theory it shouldn't clash with anything but i haven't tested it enough to say it for certain.
- Leave Global Difficulty on adept, changing it will not affect creatures and their strength but will affect their damage taken so you will either get Draugr that you easily one shot at level one or god mod that can't be killed at all. Remember 1.9.4 patch if you played it.
Now with that being said i'll say a few words, a few only mind you i took me well over a month to make this and explaining everything would take just as much.
The patch is fully deleveled, which means there are no leveled creatures left.
I made it fair as much as i could. The creatures' strength was based on their spawn points, so sensible challenge will await, Giant tundra spider for instance was made to be perfectly possible at sub 10 levels but it's strength remains the same as of their frostbite cousins. Let's call it an intersting fighting mechanic.
In addition some crashes that i found like corrupted meshes and the like have been fixed to the best of my ability. I am not allowed to fix that problem myself so i just remov …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
