Imaginarium is a special edition ENB preset for Skyrim that will give you a bright and clear atmosphere, vibrant colors and mild contrast.
- Require
Weather Mods: So far Imaginarium only works with Obsidian Weather and Seasons and NAT - Natural and Atmospheric Tamriel mods, you need to install one (and only one) of them to get the desired look. Later I will develop versions for other Weathers mods and possibly for vanilla weather as well. IMPORTANT: If you are using NAT, you need to use NAT Spelling > Go to Graphics Options and disable: Subsurface Scaterring, Wet Effects, Extra Sky Lighting and NAT Interior Design. Otherwise you will have undesirable glitches.
Lighting Mods: Interior settings are based on enhanced lights and FX modes, but may look good to others, feel free to try them out. For enhanced lights and FX don't install the weather option, if you don't like darker interiors I recommend not installing the Enhancer option. It is recommended not to use the Exteriors plugin with this preset.
- Installation steps
***Installation video tutorial (Portuguese - BR voiced) available here
1- In the game launcher you can choose FXAA or TAA (TAA is a better AA method but can cause artifacts of the ENB preset and can make the look a bit blurry, I personally think it goes with FXAA as it works fine in combination with ENB's SMAA1x, if you want to use TAA I recommend adding a lot after installation, see the optional tweaks below to see how). Disable screen space ambient occlusion in the launcher (ENB already has better occlusion).
NMM users: Go to [File>My Games>Skyrim Special Edition>Skyrimprefs.ini]
Mod Organizer 2 users: Go to […Mod Organizer2>Profile>Default>Skyrimprefs.ini]
Find the following line, set and save:
[show]
bIBLFEnable = 0 ---> (VERY IMPORTANT!!!! If this line is set to 1, you will have lens flare issues)
fGamma = 1.0000
bUse64bitsHDRRenderTarget = 1
bTreesReceiveShadows = 1
bDrawLandShadows = 1
bShadowsOnGrass = 0
iVSyncPresentInterval = 0
[Imagespace]
bLensFlare = 1
If you don't have some of the [Display] lines above in Skyrimprefs.ini, you can copy/paste them somewhere in the file under [Display].
2- Only for NVIDIA users: If you use HDMI connection, it is very important to fully set up your Dinamic series in the graphics card control panel (see picture);
3- Download the latest ENB series from: http://enbdev.com/mod_teskyrimse_v0347.htm
Open it and extract only the files d3d11.dll and d3dcompiler_46e.dll from the wrapper version folder to your Skyrim Special Edition folder;
4- Download Imaginarium ENB (the correct version for your Weather mod) from the Files tab of this page. Open it and extract the contents (enbseries folder, enblocal.ini and enbseries.ini) to your Skyrim Special Edition folder;
5-Run the game and enjoy the new look.
The basic installation ends here. If you want to customize some settings, see the options below.
- Optional adjustments
*Basic Color Correction: If you want to adjust saturation, brightness and contrast to your liking, no problem! You can do this in the ENB GUI (Shift+Enter ingame menu) as shown here and here. Don't forget to save the configuration after making changes (click here to see exactly where you need to click). I don't recommend changing settings throughout the day (unless you really know what you're doing). You should prefer editing the GLOBAL settings at the bottom of the ENBEFFECT.FX menu ( …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
