technical details
ACES "cinematic" HDR tone mapping (based on code from Krzysztof Narkowicz and Stephen Hill). ACES (created by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences) is the industry standard color grading and workflow for digital video production. This simplified implementation of ACES HDR mapping uses the correct color space when mapping high dynamic range light to standard levels for output. It compresses very dark shadows and bright highlights to mimic the behavior of analog film. The result is natural, pleasing images with pure color reproduction.
Improved Phinix's "Nighteye" effect. Night Vision Potions and night vision capabilities are enhanced with additional color correction. This version makes some improvements to the original code by eliminating false triggering in certain places.
Distance-dependent sharpening (based on JawZ's code). Nearby scenery and objects can be customizably sharpened to improve the perception of depth.
Weather support. ENB weather support changes parameters dynamically. It makes skin glow in the rain and makes cloudy days look softer and more diffuse than sunny days. Fix skin using ENB shader pack after Skyrim SE 1.5.8 update changed all shader IDs.
Day, night and indoor brightness, saturation and gamma are adjustable. Customize your dungeon or nighttime experience.
Adjustable adaptation (automatic exposure) response to bright light. Adaptation to respond only to very bright lights, such as the sun. Avoid flickering.
Highlight and shadow saturation controls. Dramatically improve image fidelity.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
