About this mod Machine translation
Somehow, vanilla Skyrim ghosts have a lot of money in the afterlife. This mod steals their pockets and replaces them with cytoplasm.
Despite falling into a big pile of watery sludge after death, Skyrim's Edge's vanilla ghosts somehow still drop items they use in life. This mod changes that.
This allows ghosts to drop Ectoplasm (and sometimes gold) on death instead of a bunch of items. Now that you know...they're not alive yet.
Currently this only works with vanilla Skyrim ghosts (due to the way I do it).
conflict:
May conflict with anything affecting Skyrim ghosts. Not sure as I'm only changing the properties of the default virtual script on an NPC basis.
My other option is to recompile the default dummy script with the changed properties, but I don't think everyone will like that.
Anyway, enjoy!

Despite falling into a pile of watery goo upon death, Skyrim Vanilla ghosts somehow still drop the items they used in life. This mod changes that.
It makes it so that ghosts only drop Ectoplasm (and Gold sometimes), when they die instead of a bunch of items. Since you know...they're not alive and stuff.
This will only work on Vanilla Skyrim ghosts at the moment (due to how I did it).
Conflicts:
Might conflict with anything that affects Skyrim ghosts. Not sure, since I only change the properties of the default ghost script on a NPC by NPC basis.
My other alternative, was to recompile the default ghost script with that changed property but I figure not everyone might like that.
Anyway, enjoy!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
