describe

This mod adds new combat tracks to the game. These aren't random royalty-free tracks thrown together to make quick patterns. They were written specifically for Skyrim, with its atmosphere, world and general atmosphere in mind. The music design here fits the vanilla Skyrim track. TL:DR, no dubstep, metal, trance or overly cheesy orchestral tracks…
It's worth noting that these tracks do have some differences from the vanilla combat tracks. These are more aggressive, punchy and faster paced than the vanilla tracks while still being able to adapt to them. Think of them as intensifying between regular combat tracks and bosses.
This mod does not overwrite any vanilla music and is compatible with Combat Music Fix.
Hun Lovaas is compatible with Still, my exploration music mod.

*Notes on ESL version*
ESL is a relatively new plug-in format, added to Fallout 4 and SSE. You can learn more about it here. They have pros and cons, which I'll list here. The best reason to use esl files is that they don't count against the maximum plugin limit, which is great for people with crowded (200+ plugins) load orders. The problem with them is that they always lose conflicts with esp files. In the case of this mod, this means that if you use the esl version and have any other plugin touching the combat music type, you will not hear the new music. That's why I recommend only advanced users, those familiar with ESL files to use the ESL version.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
