About this mod Machine translation

Allows you to bind a spell to a hotkey and automatically cast the spell when selected, or cast a focus spell until you run out of magic or cancel the spell.

describe:

I want to be able to automate spells without adding extra utility. Using Quick Cast as a base I modified it to allow single key press casting, and automatically fire focused spells until canceled or interrupted.

How to use:

The Equip and Unmap buttons are mapped in the MCM's Settings menu. When you are in your inventory or spell menu, press the equip key and equip the spell/roll you want in the hand you want. Once published, you will get a menu asking which slot you want to map to. It will automatically cast the spell when you press the relevant hotkey. Slots can be unmapped using the Unmap key.

You will also need to map 2 cancel keys, which by default will be mapped to your left/right attack buttons, and the Ready Weapon hotkey which should be mapped to the hotkey you have set for your ready weapon. If these are not mapped correctly you may run into some spelling cancellation issues and may run into some issues.

NOTE: I'm not sure how good this is for gamepad users. Additionally, if you have mods installed that add new bound weapon/shield effects, you will need to add them to the form list to resolve these issues. I built compatibility with Bound Shield, Bound Tools, Bound Armory Extravaganza, and Simple Bound Weapons Expansion

uninstall:

This mod can be removed at any time.

Known issues:

The first time you try to map/unmap a spell after loading the game, you may need to exit the menu and open it after the first mapping. A small problem but still trying to figure out what the problem is

Description:

I wanted the ability to autocast spells without having a bunch of extra utility. Using Fast Cast as a base I modified it to allow single key press casting, and auto-firing of concentration spells until a cancel key or interupted.

How to use:

Map the Equip and Unmap buttons in the Settings meny of the MCM. When you are in your inventory or spell menu press the equip key and equip the spell/scroll you want in the hand you want. Once released you will get a menu asking which slot you want to map it too. When you press the associated hotkey it will auto cast that spell. Slots can be unmapped with the Unmap key.

You will also need to map 2 cancel keys, which will be mapped to your left/right attack buttons by default, and a Ready Weapon hotkey that should be mapped to the hotkey you have set for your ready weapon. If these are not mapped correctly you might experience some issue with spell canceling and could run into some issues.

Note: I am not sure how well this will work for gamepad users. Also if you have mods installed that add new bound weapon/shield effects they will need to be added to the form list to account for them. I have built in compatability with Bound Shield, Bound Tools, Bound Armory Extravaganza and Simple Bound Weapons Expansion

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
