About this mod Machine translation

This hotfix resolves an issue where mounted guards were not wearing the correct equipment when using both Hold Riders (counted by kvatch) and Guards Armor Replacer (counted by NordwarUA).

describe:

I made this patch to fix an issue with horse riders (from the Hold Riders mod) not wearing Hold/Faction-appropriate gear when using the Guard Armor Replacer at the same time. I thought maybe someone else could benefit from this, so here you are.

Require:

  • Keep riders:
  • Guard Armor Replacer:

Install:

Just install the patch using your favorite Mod Installer. Make sure to place the patch after 2 mods in load order.

NOTE: This file is an ESP with the ESL flag, which means it will not use up the spot in your load order.

Future plans:

I would eventually like to adjust the rider's speed to a slower trot.

Thanks to the two mod writers kvatchcount and NordwarUA for their excellent mods.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
