hired servant
Assistant, who helps you by selling items for you and storing items at a location of your choice. Get some realism by calling the ability to walk toward locations and have them start moving toward you. I wanted something that felt real, but made the game less about going from merchant to merchant or back home constantly.

About this mod Machine translation
Assistant, who helps you by selling items for you and storing items at a location of your choice. Get some realism by calling the ability to walk toward locations and have them start moving toward you. I wanted something that felt real, but made the game less about going from merchant to merchant or back home constantly.
IMPORTANT NOTE: As with most items that sell for you, the gold value does not take into account user-made changes. All gold in sales is the unmodified base value of the item. So for magic, enhancements (sharpening/fortifying) and potions, it's better to sell them yourself or have a servant store them for you.
Selling this way is mostly for convenience, the servant has 300 encumbrances, but no merchant gold limit, so anything you give her will be sold.
(NEW) Several new sorting options have been added that allow you to place and move tags as needed if they are in an inventory other than that of the player who will be placing items of that type. Any items that do not match the current type will go in the All container if marked, or stay in the servant if not. More sorting options will come later. (Fixed storage timer.)
Once they arrive (or after a travel delay, default is 2), use this ability to call the servants to place the items you want them to sell in the appropriate inventory. Then tell them to go sell/store (the store must be marked or she will keep the items instead of storing them). You can select the settings option in the dialog box and set the city where you want to sell or wait.
Upon arrival (or after a travel delay) the servant nicely spends (sales delay, default 5) hours selling items before returning to the player. The return is 40% of the base price, which is well below the starting value of merchants in the new game.
After the sale, if no container is detected, she will store all items in appropriately labeled containers and indicate that she will keep the items. This will only place the item if it has a destination, so it won't lose the item and just remember to put it back.
The tag storage container requests tags from the servant and places them in the required container. Storage will occur after the sale, unless there are no items in the sales inventory, in which case it will occur immediately. You can place and move labels as needed. Requesting the tag from the server again removes it from its current location and returns it to the player.
You can also tell her to wait in town until you call her again.
The mission will update as the servant starts each step, and you can also use it to track her location. At any time you can call the servant and she will stop her current actions and return to the player. If you want it faster, waiting an hour most of the time will let her find you.
Servants are essential and ignore combat, so fights usually don't stop her. If she gets stuck, she teleports (after a travel delay) to her destination.
You can change the travel and delay delays in settings, if you set travel delay to 0 she will teleport, if you set sell delay to 0 she will sell on arrival.
If you have any questions or suggestions please let me know.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
