About this mod Machine translation

You haven't downloaded this mod yet. Every line of Hircine's dialogue is completely re-recorded in his Morrowind and Oblivion voice style.

This is a simple audio replacer that changes Hircine's voice to more closely match his voice in Morrowind and Oblivion. It can be safely added to and removed from the game at any time. There is no .esp file.

Flashback to 2011. Robbie discovers there is a quest surrounding his favorite Daedric Prince, Hircine, Lord of the Hunt and father of the Manbeasts. I stalked the white deer carefully, killed it, and realized I was ready to talk to Hircine. Fanboying has begun.

Then I realized they changed his voice. Instead of the awesome Hircine voice we got in Bloodmoon and his Daedric quest in Oblivion, we get the male Wood Elf voice from Oblivion. AAAAAAAHH

This recovery isn't 1:1, but it's the best I've been able to manage. The sound effects have to be a little heavier to hide the fact that it's not the same voice actor, but I think the spirit of finding the voice is there. It's a little more on the demonic side than Morrowind's Hircine.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
