About this mod Machine translation

Changed the heavy armor in the new legion mod to the heavy legion mod's version.

New Legion is a great mod, but Maniac feels a little inferior. Historically, the manica covered the entire arm, with just a piece of cloth underneath. In New Legion, it's built on leather gloves, which look too fat relative to the rest of the armor. The boots have a similar look, making the soldier look like a Stay Puft.

However, NordwarUA has another Imperial armor mod called "Heavy Legion". In this gauntlet, the gauntlets and boots were made of plates, but the other armor was no better than that of the New Legion. First of all, I will miss the chainmail, which is a nice addition since the mail armor is missing.

Therefore, I decided to combine the heavy armor from the Heavy Legion mode into the new Legion mode. The gauntlets caused a lot of clipping, so I grafted the breastplate along with the gauntlets and boots. You'll still see cuts with legate armor, but you won't see legate every day.

The meshes were renamed to meshes in the "New Legion" module, while the texture paths remained as they were in the "Heavy Legion" module.

The medium bracers were changed to the new legion's light bracers. Both now have the same appearance.

New Legion is a great mod, but the manica felt a little off. Historically, the manica covered the entire arm, with only a piece of cloth below it. In New Legion, it was built on top of a leather glove, which made it look too fat, in relation to the rest of the armor. The boots also had a similar look, making the soldiers look like Stay Puft.

However, NordwarUA have another imperial armor mod called Heavy Legion. In this one, the gauntlets and boots are made of plate, but the other armors were not better than the ones in New Legion. For one, I would miss the chainmail, which is a great addition, since there is a lack of mail armors.

So I decided to combine the heavy armor from the Heavy Legion mod into the New Legion mod. The gauntlets caused a lot of clipping, so I ported the cuirass together with the gauntlets and boots. You will still see some clipping with the legate armor, but you dont see a legate every day.

The meshes were renamed to the ones in the New Legion mod, while the texture path was preserved to the form found in the Heavy Legion mod.

The medium bracer was changed for the light bracer of New Legion. Both now have the same appearance.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
