About this mod Machine translation
This mod includes some tweaks to the Heavy Armor perk to improve its usefulness in some small ways.
This mod adds the following tweaks, all in an attempt to make the heavy armor unique in some way:
Increase damage reduction by adding elemental damage resistance
Increases combat effectiveness when wearing other types of armor
Makes Heavy Armor users a force to be reckoned with in a different way than Light Armor users
Eliminates the ability to sneak effectively and be as agile as a Light Armor user
I've tweaked some of the heavy armor perks in an attempt to keep the unique philosophy of heavy armor; increase the damage mitigation benefits of light armor; and provide slight benefits to the user over other types of armor. I also try to keep the editor friendly and balanced. I'm testing this and would appreciate any feedback on the chosen values.
This mod is inspired by dead Armor's Heavy Armor Perk Revision
Mod details:
Heavy armor now includes some damage mitigation over the physical damage cap.
Modify Cushioned to add 20% resistance to all elements. This appears as a magic effect once Impact is selected and the player uses all heavy armor.
Wearing heavy armor will make it easier to move around, but sneaking around is less feasible than wearing light or no armor.
Modified tuning to reduce the weight of heavy armor instead of setting it to zero.
Wearing heavy armor can completely mitigate an incoming stagger. You can now stand and face any type of attacker without being knocked off your feet.
Modified power towers to eliminate stagger.
Melee combat is more effective in heavy armor.
Modified conditioning to add 20% stamina cost to all power attacks using one- or two-handed weapons. Modify the Tower of Power to add 25% additional attack power to all one- or two-handed attack types.
Mod editing details:
PERK TowerOfStrength: Added new extra input Mod Power Attack Damage, modified existing extra input Mod Incoming Stagger
PERK Cushioned: Added new bonus entry ability PerkElementResistHeavyArmor
PERK Conditions: Modify existing perk entries, change each value from 0 to .50, add new extra entries Mod Power Attack Damage
Update log:
1.2 - Corrected 'buffer' extra description
1.1 - Removed all Mod Incoming Damage perk entries as they did not function as expected
- Reconfiguration adjustments to increase combat aspects using heavy armor
1.0 - Initial version

The mod adds the following tweaks, all of which are done to attempt to make heavy armor in some ways unique:
Increase in damage mitigation by adding Elemental damage resistance
Increase in combat utility above and beyond what can be done while wearing other kinds of armors
Make heavy armor users a force to be reckoned with in ways that differ from Light Armor users
Remove the ability to sneak effectively and the ability to be just as agile as Light Armor users
I have tweaked a few of the heavy armor perks to try and keep the idea of heavy armor unique; augment the damage mitigation advantage over light armor; and provide a slight benefit over other kinds of armor users. I've also attempted to keep the edits lore friendly and balanced. I am play testing and appreciate any feedback regarding the values chosen.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
