FAQ

"How do I open the ENB menu?"

Press the "End" key on your keyboard. (If that doesn't work, delete enblocal.ini from the game folder, reopen the game, and press "Shift + Enter.")

"How do I change a preset?"

Open the ENB menu. In the Shaders window, click "ENBEFFECTPOSTPASS.fx".

There you can choose the preset you want by changing the technology used.

"Day, night and/or interior is too dark/light. How do I fix it?"

You can easily adjust day, night and interior brightness in "ENBEFFECT.fx" in the shader window of the ENB menu.

From there you can adjust the Haze ENB to suit any combination of weather and lighting mods.

"How to disable letterboxing (black bars), vignettes or grain?"

You must open the ENB menu. In the Shader window, click ENBEFFECTPOSTPASS. There you can disable Vignette, Grain and Letterbox Bars.

"How do I disable DOF (depth of field) if I need extra FPS?"

Press the "Delete" key on your keyboard.

"Can I change my skin shade?"

sure. Open the ENB menu and open "ENBEFFECTPREPASS.fx" in the Shaders window. Change the technology used.

"I don't like the way my skin looks on Haze ENB. How can I fix this?"

You have to open the ENB menu and disable "EnablePrepass". If that doesn't solve the problem, you can also disable "EnableSubSurfaceScattering".

"I don't like the lens effect. How can I fix this?"

If you don't like the haze lens effect, you can change to a simpler effect by opening the ENB menu.

In the Shader Parameters window, click on ENBLENS.fx and use the Skyrim Mod Lens technique.

If you don't like it, you can also completely disable "EnableLens" in the "enbseries.ini" window.

“How do I take a screenshot?”

Press the "Page Up" key on your keyboard. ENB will create screenshots in the game folder.

*Remember to click "Save Configuration" to make changes permanent.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
