Happy to help, 2021 adopts the first armor mod I installed in 2011.
Description: Obtained by forging
This mod will add a new heavy armor set with daedric stats (a slight tweak to the weight makes sense) that you can craft and upgrade at the forge.
I made this mod after thinking back on 10 years of playing and modding Skyrim. The first armor mod I ever played with, and did a full walkthrough of, was the Hawke Champion Mage armor (as far as I know) a port of Berserk Dragonslayer from Dragon Age 2 and Phate3. Now 10 years later my modding skills have gotten better and I've done a lot of different mods and I decided to recreate the first batch of armors I played using only lore or vanilla meshes. That's why it's called the 2021 edition. The armor may look different depending on which texture mods you have installed.
This mod is made using resources from other mods, I'll note them here:
- Textures from hilljon's Black Shadow Armor Playable Mod and Modder's Resources.
- Textures taken from Magrath's Thieves Guild armor, based on the original concept art.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
