Improved fist weapon stats and fixed existing bugs to make unarmed combat more enjoyable and consistent
While there are plenty of mods that alter Skyrim's unarmed combat, there are few that alter your own fist stats. I find this unfortunate because there is something inherent in Fist weapons that makes them feel clunky and unreliable. This mod aims to solve this problem by changing some statistics and fix some bugs related to unarmed attack data in race records.
The changes to fist weapons are as follows:
Attack speed increased by 25% (1->1.25)
Interleaving increased to 0.7 (was 0)
Sound detection level changed to silent
Changes to the match record are as follows:
Fists' dual-wield power attacks now correctly deal 1.5x damage, consistent with dual-wield weapon ability attacks
Dual-wielding fist power attacks now have 0.5 staggered power (from 0), consistent with one-handed fist power attacks
Fist dual-wield power attacks now correctly use 50% of the stamina cost per attack, consistent with dual-wield weapon ability attacks
-This means that the total stamina cost of a two-fisted power attack is 1.5x that of a standard power attack, instead of the vanilla 3x stamina cost
Fixed a number of inconsistencies in match attack logs.
compatibility
fist weapon
Weapon editing is not compatible with mods that edit or replace vanilla fist weapons. Patches for SPERG are provided, but I can patch other incompatible mods upon request (assuming they are in fact incompatible). Ordinator compatible, no patches required.
EthnicityEdit
Any mod that edits vanilla playable races is incompatible with my edits. Therefore, I separated the race Edits into an optional esp.
-These compatibility *might* be fixed with a Smash Patch, but I haven't tested if the attack data is patched
-Morningstar-Skyrim Minimalistic Races are compatible as it does not edit the race record itself, only its power
-I provide the patch for Fighting Game Overhaul in the installer.

While there are plenty of mods that alter Skyrim's unarmed combat, there are very few that alter the fists' statistics themselves. Sound Detection level changed to Silent
Changes to the Race Records are as follows:
Dual Wield Power Attacks with fists now correctly deal 1.5x damage, in line with dual wield weapon power attacks
Dual Wield Power Attacks with fists now have 0.5 Stagger Mult (up from 0), in line with single handed fist power attacks
Dual Wield Power Attacks with Fists now correctly use 50% stamina cost per attack, in line with dual wield weapon power attacks
-This means that dual wield fist power attacks will use 1.5x the stamina cost of a standard power attack overall, as opposed to the 3x staminaconsumption of vanilla
Fixed numerous inconsistencies within the race Attack Records.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
