About this mod Machine translation

Add sun spells from the Ordinator via the Big Tome (no Ordinator required), let Sun's Judgment affect them, and dynamically distribute those tomes using Apocalypse's graded list.

Originally based on this mod.

You don't need an Ordinator to use this mod, the spells are fully included in the mod. But you do need Vokrii and Apocalypse. Apparently, Vokrii contains perks, and Apocalypse contains leveled lists for distributing books. It's simple, the Coordinator's spells will be affected by Judgment of the Sun, just like vanilla's Sun spells.

If you want to make an offensive Paladin style character, I also recommend using the Dawnguard Arsenal and Vokrii-Dawnguard Arsenal patches. Both can be found on the nexus, and they will give you a lot of offensive options for Sun's Judgment build. Mysticism also adds some great spells, but I feel like the balance between spells does become inconsistent when combining mysticism with vokrii. They just don't work well together, so I'll hold on until someone comes up with a more complex consistency patch.

I personally patched my own files and also added the Ordinator spell library to the merchants Dawnguard Arsenal uses for their sun spells. I don't want to include these edits in the main file because editing the original level's list directly would limit the number of people who can use this mod without creating conflicts. But I think it's more interesting to do this, especially: you get the tome from a vampire hunter worshiped by Stendarr, rather than from any properly leveled restored tome.

I want to use both distribution methods in my game because I want this character to be a paladin and he needs these spells as quickly as possible. But maybe it makes more sense to make them Dawnguard exclusive spells. I'm going to upload the plugin now, except I didn't actually do a separate patch for this, I just added these records to a big ongoing overlay file that I use to handle various stuff. However, if anyone needs the patch because they don't use Apocalypse, or if anyone finds that the Apocalypse distribution doesn't work properly, I will make a separate patch for Dawnguard Arsenal.

Initially based on this mod.

You don't need Ordinator to use this mod—the spells are entirely contained within the mod. You DO need Vokrii and Apocalypse though. Vokrii contains the perk, obviously, and Apocalypse contains the leveled lists that distribute the tomes. This is pretty simple, the ordinator spells will be affected by Sun's Judgment in the same way the vanilla sun spells are.

If you're trying to make an offensive paladin style character I would also recommend Dawnguard Arsenal and the Vokrii - Dawnguard Arsenal patch. Both can be found and will give you a lot of offensive options for a Sun's Judgment build. Mysticism also adds some great spells but I feel like the balance between spells becomes really inconsistent when combining mysticism with vokrii. They just don't work very well together, so I'd hold off on that until someone comes up with a more complex consistency patch.

I personally patched my own files to also add the Ordinator spell tomes to the same merchants that Dawnguard Arsenal uses for its sun spells. I didn't want to include these edits in the main files because directly editing vanilla leveled lists would limit the number of people who can use this mod without conflicts. But I think doing it that way is more interesting lore-wise: you get the tomes specifically from Stendarr-worshipping vampire hunters, rather than from any appropriately-leveled source of restoration tomes.

I'm using both distribution methods in my own game since I want this character to be a dedicated paladin and he needs to get those spells as soon as possible. But maybe it makes more sense to make them Dawnguard exclusive spells. I'd upload that plugin right now, except I didn't actually make a separate patch for that, I just added those records to a big, ongoing override file I use …

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
