guard sleeve
Increased chance of guards spawning with sleeves and/or fur gloves. Probabilities vary based on its overall climate. Same as non-SE Skyrim version. Turns out it works on SE, so I wanted to upload it here as well.

Increased chance of guards spawning with sleeves and/or fur gloves. Probabilities vary based on its overall climate. Same as non-SE Skyrim version. Turns out it works on SE, so I wanted to upload it here as well.
This is a re-upload of my Guard Sleeve mod for non-Special Edition Skyrim. I was asked if I could port this to SE and it turns out it works fine without any changes. Thought I'd upload it here for people who only want to see the special edition.
While browsing the data file I found a mesh for the Stormcloak armor with sleeves. I decided to use it just for fun. I highly doubt I'm the only one who's ever done this, but I thought I'd upload it anyway.
All this mod does is take the unused mesh for the Stormcloak armor with long sleeves and use it as guards and Stormcloaks in the new armor. Now, they sometimes have long-sleeved versions of their regular armor. They also have equal opportunity to wear fur gauntlets, as some Guardsmen do not have gauntlets included in their guard uniforms. Both use the same probabilities but are not in the same list, so some guards will only have gauntlets, some will only have sleeves, and some will have both.
The probability breakdown is as follows:
Dawn Star-90%
Falkreath-50%
Markas -25%
Mortal -75%
Rift -25%
Lonely -50%
Whiterun-50%
Wind Helm -50%
Winterhold-90%
I also made a patch so that it works with My Cloak as well as the Winter's Coming and Skyrim Cloaks used by USSEP. I'll probably do more, but updating this and the SE version while also dealing with the FOMOD stuff will take some time.
Install:
Simply drag and drop the .esp file into the data folder, which should be wherever you installed the game. If you're using Steam, it might be something like C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim Special Edition.

This is a re-upload of my Sleeves for Guards mod for non-Special Edition Skyrim. Someone asked if I could port it to SE, turns out it worked with no changes necessary. Thought I'd upload it again here for anyone who only looks at the Special Edition.
I found the mesh for Stormcloak armor with sleeves when I was looking through the data files. Just for fun I decided to put it to use. I highly doubt I'm the only one who's made this sort of thing before, but I figured I'd upload it anyway.
All this mod does is use the unused mesh for Stormcloak armor with long sleeves in new armors for hold guards and Stormcloaks. Now they'll sometimes spawn with a long-sleeved version of their usual armor. They also have an equal chance of spawning with fur gauntlets, as some holds didn't have gauntlets in their guard outfits. Both of these use the same probability but aren't on the same list, so some guards will have just gauntlets, some will have just sleeves, and some will have both.
Probability breaks down like this:
Dawnstar - 90%
Falkreath - 50%
Markarth - 25%
Morthal - 75%
Riften - 25%
Solitude - 50%
Whiterun - 50%
Windhelm - 50%
Winterhold - 90%
I also made patches so it works with Winter is Coming and Cloaks of Skyrim, which are what I use for cloaks, as well as USSEP. I might make more, but updating this and the SE version while also juggling the FOMOD stuff means it'll take a bit.
INSTALLATION:
Just drop the.esp file in the data folder, which should be wherever you installed the game. If you're on Steam it's probably something like C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim Special Edition.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
