About this mod Machine translation
A simple mod that adds a creature follower called Grub
**Please advise**
This mod is my first attempt at making a Skyrim mod
It is by no means a fully functional/bug-free mod
I've just reached a point where I can't finish the mod and I'm looking for help or someone to get a torch
This is Grub
He's a cute creature designed to help you throughout your adventure. I started this mod hoping to make a simple follower that was small, non-intrusive, helpful in combat, and memorable. Sadly, there was no way for me to give Grub the attention he deserved, nor to implement animations, custom sounds, normal functioning tasks, or even the unique ability I had in mind for him (cannibalism) :(
I hope someone here can see the potential of grubs and either help me develop him further (let me know if interested) or even take over the development together
You can find a patron named Durk in the Bannered Mare in Whiterun, and his quests only sometimes work for unknown reasons. If all goes well, this will give you a search for a location called "Grubble" which will show up on the map if you want to find grub without a quest.
You can also instantly teleport to his lair using the command "coc grubble"
As the mod works in progress, you can have a cute little follower that uses vanilla voice and generic commands to help you complete your adventure without any animations.
Known issues:
*No animation
*Quest does not always trigger when talking to Duke
*Durk is very ugly
*Grub is very pretty (he has some stats of a slightly neurotic sword cat)
Please have mercy on me, I know this mod is not finished yet, if you guys let me take it down, I will.

He is an adorable creature that is intended to aid you throughout your adventures. I started this mod in hopes to make a simple follower that is small, non intrusive, helpful in combat, and memorable. I unfortunately do not have the means to give Grub the attention he deserves and have not implemented things like animations, custom voice, proper functioning quest, or even the unique abilities I had in mind for him (eating people):(
I'm hoping someone on here will see grubs potential and either help me further develop him (PM me if interested) or even take over development all together
You can find a patron named Durk at the Bannered Mare in Whiterun that has a quest that only sometimes works for unknown reasons. If all goes well this will put you on a quest to a location named "Grubble" image below will show on the map if you want to just find grub without the quest.
You can also use command "coc grubble" to instantly teleport to his lair
As is the mod semi works in the sense that you can have a cute little follower that uses a vanilla voice and generic commands to aid you through your adventures without any animations.
KNOWN ISSUES:
*No animations
*Quest doesnt always trigger when talking to Durk
*Durk is REALLY ugly
*Grub is pretty OP (he has the stats of slightly nerfed sabre cat)
Please have mercy on me I know this mod is unfinished and if you guys want me to take it down I will.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
