About this mod Machine translation
Meditate like a true Greybeard apprentice to gain temporary Shout cooldown reduction and increased strength.
Overview
I created it for myself a while ago and now modified it and combined it into a mod. I use Dovahkiin Relaxes Too and I like my character to meditate occasionally for roleplaying purposes, but it's just animation with no effect. My mod adds a minor power that activates the player and applies a small buff that shouts cooldown and damage. The buff will be more important if you meditate in the monastery (or around it, e.g. in the courtyard), and even stronger if you meditate in the Throat of the World.
In order for meditation to have any positive effects, you must first complete Greybeards' Trials (which includes obtaining the Horn). The power comes from the book placed in the monastery. After meditating on 20s, you cannot move 20s; players will automatically get up after that. You may want to switch to third-person view beforehand to see the animation (unless you're using an improved camera).
Manual installation
Extract the archive into the Skyrim Special Edition\Data folder.
compatibility
Compatible with anything, very lightweight, and marked as ESL so it doesn't affect plugin restrictions.

chattering dragon
Odahviing improvements

Overview
I created it a while ago for myself, now revamped and put together as a mod. I use Dovahkiin Relaxes Too and I liked my characters to occasionally meditate for roleplaying purposes, but it was just the animation with no effect. My mod adds a lesser power that animates the player, and applies a small buff to shout cooldown and damage. The buff is more significant if you meditate in the monastery (or around, e.g. in the courtyard), and the strongest if you do it at the Throat of The World.
In order for meditation to take any positive effect, you must complete the Greybeards’ trials first (including getting the horn). The power is obtained from a book placed in the monastery. When you meditate, you can’t move for 20s; after that time the player will automatically get up. You might want to switch to third person view beforehand to see the animation (unless you use Improved Camera).

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
