About this mod Machine translation
Beleser has a new partner! The good Todd Howard has moved into Belleso's General Merchandise in Whitlen and has stuff in stock that he's sure you'll want to check out!
This approach, like many good things, was born out of a joke on Tumblr. It adds everyone's favorite executive producer as a second businessman at Beleser's General Merchandising in Whitlam. What was he doing in Whitlen, you ask? Of course, he's selling his best product! If you indulge him, you might even have a chance to beg him for more. Although I think we all know how good that usually goes.
Todd can also be....
entourage
spouse
housekeeper
dad
because i can
*Require:
·The latest version of Skyrim Special Edition.
*Features:
·Todd as Belethor's "General Go@@" at Whiterun
·The "Old Scroll V: Skyrim" that Todd will sell you, when opened, will teach you the "Who is your daddy" spell, allowing you to plead with Todd to give you more Old Scrolls.
·Pleading with Todd, aka casting “Who’s Your Daddy” in “The Spell,” will summon Todd, no matter what he’s doing – which is obviously far more important than his players – to ease your murmur of another SKYRIM.
·The "Who's Your Daddy" spell can potentially be thrown anywhere as long as Todd has room to land, making him a pretty handy summonable trader.
Be forewarned, this spell is meant to summon Todd a few feet away from you - if you're in a small space, he'll try to get as close to his summon point as possible, which may end up in some weird places depending on where you are. This may have unforeseen consequences. Call responsibly.
Todd may also play a simple vanilla follower who can marry, be your butler, and adopt children.
·In battle, Todd acts as a magic sword. He will wield a one-handed weapon and cast fire spells.
·All voice files and dialogues are common assets. I haven't added anything here. All humor is implicit.
·Edit and clean with TES5
*Known oddities:
·When you are summoned, if you talk to Todd too quickly, he may not give you the option of a business conversation. If you close the dialogue tree and open it again, you can sell it to him.
·Like the Spouse Merchant, Todd will not sell to you while he is currently a follower. You have to sell him as a follower.
·If you marry Todd, he will offer you to move in with him. It's really just to keep up appearances and not scare off his new spouse on his wedding day. The thing is, he's squatting in the back room of Belethor, and if you "moved in," you wouldn't have a bed to sleep in. You knew who he was when you got married. Regret is a bit late.
*compatibility:
·As far as I know, Todd should be compatible with everything. He is simple and should act like any other normal follower.
Having said that, this is my first mod and I'm a hobbyist. If you have trouble, please let me know here. I can't guarantee a high level of support, but I'll try to help in any way I can.
*Install:
MOD manager installation:
Download the 7z file and install using NMM or other preferred mod manager. The installation has only been tested on NMM, so I can't guarantee it will work smoothly with any other device - though again, this is a simple module, so I don't see why it wouldn't.
Manual installation:
Extract the contents of the 7z archive. Open the ToddHoward\Data folder. Copy the contents of this folder to the game's data folder. Usually located in C:\ProgramFiles(X86)\Steam\Public\Skyrim Special Edition\Data, or somewhere similar. use your
preferred mod manager, activate the.esp by checking the box next to toddhoward.esp.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
