Port from Oldrim to holiday-themed shops at SSE by Jokerine. A new store offering delicious food and beautiful gifts for your loved ones!
This is a port of Golden Rose, from the original Skyrim to SSE on J. All credits go to her for designing and implementing this mod. Many thanks for allowing open permission to port it. The original mod can be found here:
Golden Roses - Valentine's Day Decorations and Food
-------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------.esp has been saved in form 44 in CK. All meshes and textures have been processed and run in the latest version of NifOptimizer to ensure compatibility with SSE. Since this is a port, this mod is provided as-is and will not receive any support from Jokerine. She has retired from modding and does not plan to update any of her mods anytime soon. I can provide limited support and I test it in game to make sure it works.
Here is the description of Jokerine from the Oldrim page:

Hello and welcome to my latest celebration themed mod. Today I bring you some Valentine’s Day decorations for you to give to your loved ones! (Yes, I know this mod is probably not very friendly, so don't point it out, thanks.)
Featuring a cute little shop, The Golden Rose, this offering offers you mouth-watering chocolates, delicious pastries and a variety of gifts to delight your friends and family.
The file has been cleaned using TES5EDIT, does not require any DLC, and has no scripts, so it should be safe for everyone to use. However, before installing any mod, you should always make a backup save in case something goes wrong.
detail:
Since this is a very simple pattern, I'm not going to make it more elaborate, it requires you to use your imagination. You can buy new Valentine's Day items from vendors and present them to your fans through their usual dialogue, just by placing their gifts in their inventory. I know some people may be disappointed and I apologize in advance. Of course, you can also simply buy decorations and place them around your house.
Just like I did with The Merry Snowberry and The Bloody Tankard, everything is purchasable and can be placed for maximum compatibility; no items are added to level lists or placed around the world. I made it so you can install it and keep it instead of feeling like you should uninstall the mod after the celebration is over ;)
The Golden Rose is located in Falkreath, close to the Falkreath Watchtower. It comes with an enabled map marker so you can travel to it immediately. The provider works 24 hours a day, so downloads are available at any time!
This is a beautiful showcase of the awesome MMOxReiew (skip to 8:04 to see it)
Install:
Extract the contents of the downloaded file to the "Steam/SteamApps/Common/SkyrimSpecialEdition/Data" folder. Then tick the checkbox next to esp to activate the mod via your preferred launcher. Or you can use Mod Manager to automatically download mods.
To uninstall, just delete the file named "ValentinesShop" from the Data folder and you're good to go.
compatibility:
I don't think there might be many issues with compatibility with other mods unless they make a lot of changes to the area I'm working on.
Some new items have tricky collisions and may sink or tumble on the floor. I tried to fix them, but you know, sometimes they can need a bit of roughness to stand straight. Raising them to the ground and lowering them seems to work.
integral:
Special thanks to my friends in the Black Mesa steam chat room for helping me out with some lame Valentine's Day thoughts on the book, testing the mod, letting me have fun at work, and playing Elder Scrolls Online with me while I worked on the servers. That said, thanks also to the ESO team - if it weren't for the fact that their servers were down for most of …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
