About this mod Machine translation
Replaced Solitude's doors with new custom meshes and high-quality textures.
Coming to my second mod after my first mod Glorious Solitude Door SE.
While I enjoyed making the first door, I thought why not make more of them.
Glorious Solitude Door Replacer SE
This mod replaces the three entrance doors used on Solitude buildings.
For all three I made new meshes in Blender with great 3D detail and texture, which I wanted to be close to photorealistic.
work in progress
This mod is a work in progress as there are more doors to replace in Solitude.
Unfortunately, Skyrim's door system is really confusing and a bit messy.
There are some drawbacks to the current state of the mod, as some buildings use different doors on the inside rather than on the outside.
I made my door as realistic as possible and added water stains on the outside of the door, but not on the inside.
After I told them about it, I noticed that some buildings showed the outside of the door on the inside and vice versa, very disappointing.
It doesn't make any sense, but that's the way it's implemented in vanilla, and I can't do much without learning CK, which I'd like to avoid now.
There are also some doors that don't line up exactly in their arches as the placement is very odd and I tried my best to make it look good for everyone.
The next step would be to replace the inner doors, but oddly enough they are more crazy and I need more time.
Install
Nothing fancy here, just drop the files into the data folder.
compatibility
I haven't noticed any issues with the mod I'm using, but make sure to load my mod after any other mod modifies the door.
The only one I know of is XENB 2019, which also replaces the grid shousedoor01.nif.
Hope you like it and if you have any problems with the mod please let me know.

Unfortunately Skyrim's door system is really confusing and somewhat messy.
There are some drawbacks with the current state of the mod as some buildings use different doors on the inside than on the outside.
I made my doors as realistic as possible and added water stains on the exterior side of the doors, but not in the inside.
After I brought them ingame I noticed that some buildings show the exterior side of a door on the inside and vice versa, pretty disappointing.
It doesn't make any sense but this is how it was implemented in Vanilla and I can't do much about it without learning CK, which I'd like to avoid for now.
Also some doors don't line up exactly in their arch because the placement is really weird, I gave my best to make it look good for all of them.
The next step will be to replace the interior doors also but weirdness gets even crazier with them and I need more time for them.
Installation
Nothing special here, just put the files into your data folder.

I didn't notice any issues with the mods I am using, but make sure to load my mod after any other mod modifying the doors.
The only one I know is XENB 2019 which also replaces the mesh shousedoor01.nif.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
