About this mod Machine translation
This is a very early beta version of custom forwarding with the ability to load modules to provide game-specific behavior. In this version it has all the last updated features of ReShade and the ability to skip the UI and draw shaders without breaking the interface.
This is a pre-release and untested version!
It should work as expected, but it might as well not :p
The goal with this version is to be able to apply ReShade shaders under the UI, so fx like DoF doesn't blur it!
Mod demo:
Hi!
I made a fork of ReShade just for GuildWars 2 some time ago, which added some features like providing game information to shaders, injecting fx behind the UI, editing shaders, etc...
I don't have a lot of free time to work on this, so it's going very slowly, but I'm still trying to update it so it can work with any game, at least the injection part!
Since the previous version only worked with DirectX 9, I had to find a Dx11 game and I chose this one :p So basically this is the result of my testing on Skyrim SE and I think it might work for some people.
The source for custom conversions can be found here and Skyrim-specific mods here
How it works:
This is divided into two parts:
- Modified ReShade, it's exactly the same but can also load modules
- Module that adds specific behavior to ReShade: in this version it only looks for specific shaders and asks the main dll to apply post fx.
Install:
- Download the modified forward (d3d11.dll) here
- Download mod (module.dll)
- Place them in the Skyrim Se root folder (next to SkyrimSE.exe)
It has no shaders and no presets, but you can use existing ones (shaders can be found here)

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
