Show your favorite weapons and shields without equipment, including bows!
All Geared Up Derivative (AllGUD)
LE version: AllGUD
This mod originally started as a script edit for All Geared Up (AGU) to change the way its selected weapons were displayed. It has evolved into the most feature-rich Unequipped-Weapons-on-the-Back mode on the web.
•Easy to use: Displays the most recently unequipped favorite weapons of each type. Don't like the weapon to remove it from the display.
- Save your display: Locking weapons via MCM will give priority to weapon types when they are not equipped, allowing for the use of multiple favorite weapons while letting you choose what is ultimately displayed!
•Ignore certain weapon types completely: Locking an empty weapon will not show the weapon type when you equip it.
- Left-Handed Weapons and Staffs: Make sure you have Double Sheath Redo (DSR) or Ecotone Double Sheath Grid installed!
•bow!
- Miscellaneous items! (I haven't heard back from AGU's creator, MrJack/mrpwn, about repackaging his grids. So if you need them, you'll have to install AGU and extract them.)
•Support localization, but I'm not a translator.
However! This all comes at a terrible price...complicated installation! (until there is widespread support)
Major bug fixes required brand new mesh. Unlike AGU, all weapons require a new mesh to be displayed, and 6 new Skeleton nodes need to be connected, similar to the staff implemented by DSR. This process only takes a few seconds per weapon and will resolve the most glaring bugs plaguing the AGU:
•Replicated weapons on the back/invisible weapons in the hands.
- Bows/Crossbows that cause CTD, which is why they are not supported.
•The remaining scabbard after switching weapons.
The tutorial image contains instructions for patching the weapon.
The readme file contains instructions for patching the skeleton.
Vanilla mesh is included but will have to be patched if using a mesh replacement.
There are also some small visual bugs that I can't get. All related to dual wielding and detailed in the readme.
AllGUD uses body slots!
The default configuration uses these slots:
44 RH sword
45 RH Dagger
49 RH Ax / Mace
52 RH staff
54 2H Melee
56 LH Dagger / Sword / Ax / Mace
59 Bow/LH Staff
60 dong
This provides compatibility with Cloaks, Backpacks, Left-Rings, and Bandolier's Torso & Waist equipment (except Side Hips).
These can all be changed via MCM.

Install
- Install AllGUD using the mod manager.
2.Install AGU, do not enable its .esp, extract the mesh from its .bsa
- Install DSR, do not run its Patcher or enable its .esp
- Install XPMSE or preferred skeleton mod. If your character's weapon appears on the character's feet, follow the skeleton patching instructions in the readme.
If you have replaced any vanilla meshes.
- Follow the patching instructions to create the mesh used by AllGUD.
If you have added any new weapons.
- Check if it comes with any DSR mesh, if not then search for it.
- Follow the patching instructions to create the mesh used by AllGUD.
Swapping to AllGUD from another Weapons-on-Back mode should be fine, but I highly recommend starting a new game to avoid any potential instability.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
