Jokerine's Freshwater Caverns Player Home Port from Oldrim to SSE. A small cave home somewhere along the shores of Lake Ilinata.
This is a port of freshwater cave players' homeland from the original Skyrim to SSE by York Grove. All credits belong to her design and implementation. Many thanks to Open License for porting her mods to SSE. The original mod can be found here:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------.esp has been saved in Form 44. Cleaning is not necessary as Jokerine did it with TES5Edit along with the original mod. I ran the azzendiz water repair script through xEdit and it corrected 2 records related to water seams in the area. Users of "Reality Water II" designed by isoku shouldn't have any problems. The cave home does have a custom helmet included with the original mod. If you have trouble finding a photo gallery, refer to it. This module is a direct conversion from Oldrim, and for compatibility with SSE all meshes and textures are run through the latest version of SSE NifOptimizer (3.0.5). Jokerine said this mode is provided without any support. I will try to help as much as I can. If you have any questions about the file, please let me know. I installed this in my game and I have no issues, the map markers appear in front of me without any issues. Before you can quickly reach the cave, you must first discover it.
My cave texture does look different than the original because I'm using a new texture mode, redone by Clearance Clarence, CC's headquarters mine called. If you have a computer that can run the 4k retexture mods, and they can be found here, I highly recommend doing so:
CC Headquarters resumes mine mining
Here is the description of Jokerine from the Oldrim page:

Hi everyone! This little model adds a small cellless cave somewhere on the coast. Lake Ilinalta.
The file has been cleaned with TES5EDIT, requires no DLC, is completely transparent and has no scripts, so it should be safe for everyone.
However, you should always make a backup save before installing any modules in case something goes wrong.

Just a small free cave home in the Riverwood neighborhood. (Yes, I know, very creative) Along the lake shore. There is a map marker, but you need to discover it before you can fast travel.
It's basically a small piece of Embershard Mine that I liked, so I took it out and made it standalone with some changes and renovations. Since this is for a starting character, there's nothing here that you can't theoretically grab and carry around in the dungeons of Riverwood and Whitlen.
There is a pedestal, a cooking pot, a chopping board, a corundum vein, and a Temple of Dibella. (Just a hanging amulet, I wouldn't do another version) There are also a bunch of safe storage rooms. The water is deep enough for swimming. A clam, barnacles and some fish and insects will lay their eggs inside. There is also a fishing rod that you can harvest. A unique piece of clothing can also be found here.
Please note that I haven't tested how the new shrines will work with mods that add animation, such as praying at the shrine - I'm using AE animations in the photos.
What happened to the previous owner? Who knows! Have a journal that you can read to get an idea.
Because this is what I do for myself and I wouldn't change anything...I don't add or subtract. Mods are provided as-is. .
==Known Issues and Compatibility==
The hole is really small so there isn't a lot of room to move around. Some decorations are static to prevent clutter from flying everywhere.
There are no free tokens for minions, as this is just for the player.
Regarding compatibility I really don't know. There are so many mods that increase the square footage of buildings that it's only natural that real estate is at a …
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
